Lane Johnson was born in 1958. He studied composition with Dr. Merrill Bradshaw, Dr. David Sargent, and Dr. Thomas Durham at Brigham Young University, where he received his degree in Music Composition and Theory in 1982. He also received a teaching certificate in Choral Music Education in 1986. He has taught choral music at both the Junior High and High School levels and has conducted various church choirs as well. Mr. Johnson's compositions and arrangements have been performed by University, High School, Junior High School, Church and Community choirs all over the world.
